27.01.2009 APLR Became a Member of the Council of Valuators' Association of CIS

Representatives of the Association for Protection of Landowners’ Rights participated in the 7^th International Congress of Valuators’ Associations of CIS taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Congress discussed the potential for the development of real property markets and valuation in the light of the economy of Azerbaijan.

Representatives of leading valuation organizations of CIS, as well as western and east European countries and USA took part in the Congress organized by the support of International Financial Corporation.

 

In the course of the Congress APLR became a member of the Council of Valuators’ Associations of the CIS. Such membership will support the development of real property valuation field in the country and give the opportunity to business circles to make helpful international contacts.

 

It is planned to orginize 8^th international congress of real property valuators in Tbilisi, October, 2009. The congress will dealt with the development of real estate valuation market in Georgia and international experience. Representatives of USA, European and post socialist countries will come to participate.

 

To hold  the valuators’ international congress in Georgia will facilitate the rapid development of real property valuation services in the country and ensure sharing up-to-date experience, advancing respective international standards and extending the contacts between local and international businesses.
