The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia continues registration of state-owned real properties for the purpose of their further privatization. Properties intended for sale includes agricultural and non-agricultural land parcels, enterprises together with land parcels attached, ventures for communal services, underground and overground linear objects, etc. Association for Protection of Landowners’ Rights, based on the contract concluded with the Ministry, conducts field cadastral works in Tbilisi and regions of Georgia. As a result of these works boarders of agricultural and non-agricultural land parcels are specified, areas of project-covered buildings identified and respective cadastral and/or topographic maps prepared and submitted to the Ministry. The Project also envisions preparing cadastral maps for underground and overground linear objects, such as electro-transmission lines, irrigation channels, pipelines, and tunnels in accordance with the parameters requested. Project implementation supports privatization of state-owned real properties as well as rapid development of private sector. |
