Preparing Cadastral Maps for the Areas Adjoining Old Christian Temples

Project Abstract: For developing the tourism sector in Georgia and increasing the number of visitors to old Georgian temples it is needed to improve infrastructure within the adjoining areas of these churches and organize public services and necessary networks, such as canteens, resting sites, lavatories, etc. Georgian National Tourism Agency contracted Association for Protection of Landowners’ Rights to prepare cadastral plans for the territories allocated for the development of infrastructure of certain old Christian temples. Based on this contract APLR carries out cadastral surveys at the places proposed for the construction of public lavatories around Alaverdi, Nikortsminda, Vardzia, Davit-Gareji, Ikalto, Dzveli Shuamta, Gelati and Djvari. As a result of field works respective cadastral plans are prepared and transferred to the customer. Project implementation will facilitate improvement of public services around the historic and cultural monuments. |
